Our Geriatric Day Program is a short-term outpatient program designed for older adults experiencing the emotional pain and mental stress that accompanies aging. This helps those suffering from memory loss, the death of a spouse, diminished physical ability, loneliness or decreased independence. Patient participation can be any length of time and is voluntary, but on average participation lasts 120 days.

A team including a licensed psychiatrist and specially-trained geriatric counselors offers an intensive approach to restoring the emotional and mental well-being of patients in a supportive group environment. Transportation, snacks and lunch are provided for all participants. We also work with patients for referrals for occupational and physical health needs as necessary.
