Citizens Baptist Medical Center will try to provide necessary interpreter services for the convenience of our patients and their families. In an effort to provide the best care available, if possible, please provide us with a courtesy call so that we may attempt to make proper arrangements.
For the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
A telecommunications device is available to help hearing-impaired patients or patients who want to communicate with a hearing-impaired relative or friend. Arrangements can also be made to have an interpreter to assist with a hearing-impaired or deaf patient.
Video Remote Interpreting
On occasion, interpreters may not be on-site. In an effort to provide care without delay, Citizens Baptist Medical Center will try to offer video remote interpreting cameras with capabilities to provide sign language or spoken non-English language to patients and family members.
